Jodi Gallegos

If you’ve ever thought about writing a book, but wondered where to find the inspiration, this presentation is for you. Jodi will discuss how everyday events can inspire—and even enhance—your writing.

Jodi is a YA and NA/Adult writer, black belt, and registered nurse who lives in Grand Junction with her husband, three sons and an evolving herd of undisciplined animals.

Denae Christine Worcester

Denae Christine will talk about her fantasy books and the shape of a story. She will cover introductions to try-fail cycles to pinch points to climaxes to denouements. Come curious about the how's and why's of story elements. What are they? Why do authors use them? How long do they tend to be? This short discussion will contain advice and examples for any fiction enthusiast, whether writer or reader or both.

Denae Christine loves Jesus, kids, books, ice cream, and dragons.  She teaches math at R-5 High School and has published four books.  Her favorite genre to read and write is young adult fantasy.
